Anatomical shaping around the foot allows toes to spread out as the foot strikes, while a sculpted foot bed holds the foot in place on ascents and descents. Trash can stuffers
The top of the boot around the ankle is not properly padded - just a tightly rolled piece of foam at the very top of the boot that digs into your ankle. Tried cutting the padding away, but there is a seam on the outside of the boot that also chafes. If you have to walk more than a mile or two, forget it; you will be hurting - real bad.
