Anatomical shaping around the foot allows toes to spread out as the foot strikes, while a sculpted foot bed holds the foot in place on ascents and descents. Super comfortable and durable!
I have worn this shoe for about 200 miles now, and had to come back and write about it. It is comfortable from day one, durable and after 200 miles is not showing wear. The salt from this wicked winter comes right off, and the fit is great. This is one great boot.

Trash can stuffers
The top of the boot around the ankle is not properly padded - just a tightly rolled piece of foam at the very top of the boot that digs into your ankle. Tried cutting the padding away, but there is a seam on the outside of the boot that also chafes. If you have to walk more than a mile or two, forget it; you will be hurting - real bad.
