GoLite Amp Lite Men's trail running shoes
I was looking for a pair of no-rise running shoes that offered a thicker sole than other shoes I had tried as I make the transition to entirely neutral running shoes. The Amp Lite shoes fit the bill very nicely. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on. I have used them frequently for running and walking over the last couple months and they have become one of my favorite pair of shoes. In my case, the fit of the shoes was true to size. I have size 10 feet and the size 10 fit perfectly. I would certainly order these shoes again.

I loved the lightness of these shoes, but the fact they have such a flat heel really detracts from their walkability. I understand they are trail running shoes, but they really hard to walk in.

great looking not great fitting
I love the look of these shoes but their lack of comfort is an issue the collar rubs against the ankle. They are called lite but found them very bulky compared to some trail running shoes.

fine fit, cranky collar
I like everything about these shoes except the fact that the collar rubs against the bottom of my ankle bone on the outside. If that collar was just 2 inches lower, these shoes would be keepers. Here's what's great: zero drop (heel height and forefoot height the same), straight last, snug fit everyplace except the toebox, which is roomy. Here's what's not: pretty ugly, very clunky (I would consider these light hikers, NOT trail runners), and that collar thing... I am a 10/10.5 and 10 was the right size. This is basically the same platform as the sol lite (which I wear and which doesn't make me hot under the collar), flash lite, carbo lite. Just the uppers are different.

Funky Arch Support
I tried these shoes on and returned them as fast as I could. They have some kind of funky arch support that ties into the lacing system. No matter how I adjusted the laces, the shoe support rubbed both sides of my foot and felt like all my weight was being supported on my arches. I have average arch height and don't like or need anything supporting them. Because of the shoe design, there is not enough volume in the middle of the shoe even though there was more than enough in the heel and forefoot.
