Helly Hansen Men's Seven J Rain Jacket

Great Jacket for all conditions..
This jacket is a great jacket for any type of weather! Even if its a cool fall day this jacket is super comfortable and it doesn't appear to just be a rain jacket but something you can wear for any situation. Love it!

Great breathable rain jacket
This was a replacement for a lower quality vinyl rain jacket. What a change! This jacket boasts several advantages: 1) Breathability - despite the lack of pit vents, the fabric is very breathable and I didn't find I was self-cooking by any means 2) Beading & waterproof - the jacket does a great job at keeping rain at bay, and provides great waterproofing 3) Windproofing - I was surprised at how well this handles wind - pretty amazing, considering it isn't windstop! 4) Stowability - packs down into its own carrying case Great purchase and kudos to Helly Hansen!

Nice jacket - odd fit
I liked this jacket a lot quality-wise but had to return it because the large was too narrow for me. The sizing chart from the manufacturer didn't seem accurate. The sleeves were plenty long but it was too tight when zipped. I weigh about 215 lbs. so if you're similar I'd recommend an XL.

Good Buy except for Tear
I ordered this jacket for my son who does not like rain jackets since they make him feel sweaty and clautraphobic. When he tried it on he liked the way it fit and the fabric, both inside and out, so he was disppointed that the first thing I saw was a cut/tear in the middle, front of the jacket. I am returning the jacket, and Altrec agreed to pay the return postage when I asked. I will order the exact same thing as a replacement since it seems like a good quality jacket for the price. Hopefully the 2nd order will not have a rip. And, as my son said, hopefully it doesn't rain before we receive the replacement.
