Not water proof and sole is not puncture proof
I wore these for a couple weeks before my early September Elk Hunting trip. On day two we had some rain within 15 minutes of walking in the rain my feet were soaked. I was drying the shoes in front of the heater when I noticed a huge hole in the sole of one along with many small holes all over the soles of both, the huge hole goes clear through to the inside of the shoe. the sole has foam along with rubber and I assume a stick poked holes in the soles. The shoes were very light and comfortable and were great for walking all day, but I would not recommend these for hunting or wet weather.
