excellent choice
I bought Hi Tec women's hiking boots. This is the first I have bought from Altrec and I have worn them on two five mile hikes and one 15 mile hike. They are true to size, very comfortable and very light weight. I was afraid they were so light they wouldn't be waterproof. But we have had record rain in my area and my feet have been perfectly dry through all three hikes.

Too Small
I was really excited to get these boots but unfortunatel when they came they were very narrow across the footbed. If you have narrow feet, probably not a problem, but if you have bunions or wide feet, you need to select another boot.
