Wonderful baselayer
I own several I/O bio pieces of clothing, jacket, underwear, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts. The ionization process used in these products make them soft, leaving out the itch. I could never were wool but I was told by fellow aerobic athletes here in Montana about I/O bio and I have fully embraced type of wool. I use the thumb holds when I neglect to bring my I/O bio liners, the sun goes down during the late afternoon winter run and I simply pop the thumb through the sleeve hold and viola, warmth.
