IO/Bio makes great merino. These tights are warm but light weight. Seams are flat and therefore non-invasive and the color is very different. Washes well and dry on a line... Good buy at the regular price, but awesome scoop on sale!! And shipping to Canada is really good... came through customs no problems....

Great base layer
These are very warm but not bulky. I wore these under jeans in Europe this winter.

Awesome, highly recommended!
These tights are super comfortable and provide a solid amount of extra warmth. I wore them under jeans walking around Quebec city and Montreal in 10F temps. I still felt the cold a little, but to be fair it was positively freezing! And I was no where near as cold as I would have been if I was just wearing jeans. They are thin enough to wear under pants and not feel restricted and bulky. They would also be ok to wear under a skirt and boots although I found that they are not super tight, they do have a bit of give to them so they get a little wrinkly around the knees. They hold up well for days of continuous use and being made from merino wool they do not get stinky. Great for lounging around at home too! Great product, would highly recommend.
