Merino wool rules
I agree with other reviewer. Cotton (and poly wicking) shirts are out! I will eventually replace all with merino wool. I am 6'2", 190lbs and large fits great. Have worn as a base layer on 40 degree day, and on its own for a run in 75 degree weather and have been comfortable. No odor. do not put in the dryer...it will shrink, and you don't need to because it dries quickly.

Great fitting, high quality wool t-shirt. Looks great and is extremely comfortable. Shirt has a very nice athletic fit, but not at all tight. Wool is much better than cotton; it breathes, it looks better, doesn't hold odors, it is more comfortable, and lasts longer. I have replaced all my cotton T-shirts with icebreaker wool T's. As with anything wool, I wouldn't recommend putting it in the dryer as it may shrink and lose some of its shape.

I wear this shirt for everything you can think of...great for under a second t-shirt to keep sweat from going through, and great by itself for everyday use. Great wicking ability and really doesn't hold smell; I couldn't believe it! Awesome product! I want one in every color!

Expensive, yes. Worth it? Absolutely.
I'm an ultra-light traveler and don't pack a lot of clothes. No synthetics and definitely no cotton. I need durable clothing that's comfortable, doesn't hold odor and dries quickly. The Icebreaker 150 line, and these shirts especially, fit the bill perfectly. I started with one shirt and now I have five and they are the only shirts I travel with. Highly recommended.

Great value
Soft and durable. The merino wool keeps you warm when when it's cool outside and cool when it heats up. I don't use my synthetics any more.
