The Isis 2.4-ounce cotton lawn fabric is perfect for summery blouses such as our new Toorak Street Tunic for Women. This has 3/4-length sleeves and pintucks at the shoulders. The neck and sleeves both have button closures and there are side slits at the hem. It's casual and comfortable making it a great everyday top.

light, airy and comfortable
Woven cotton lawn is one of the coolest fabrics, perfect for sticky Southern summers. This tunic is a nice length for me at 5'8", coming down low on my hips. It's not too long to tuck in and also looks nice untucked. Since it's woven I ordered a size larger than usual and found that the 8 worked well on my 125-lb frame. It does wrinkle easily. I dry it for a few minutes and finish drying on a hanger, and it's OK without ironing. My only complaint with it is that the neck opening may reveal your bra between the buttons. Either a tank top underneath or a few strategically placed stitches will solve that problem.
