Jetboil Spoon

Perfect spoon for hiking
I love this particular spoon for a few reasons. I will just ramble until I am out of things to say, lol. First of all, I like how light it is. As you know ounces count when you are hiking. Second, I like how compact it becomes when collapsed. I have packed MRE's in my pack and the spoon the MRE's come with is long yes (which is good for not getting your dirty little fingers down into the bag), but bad because once I am done, I cannot fold it down to fit into my pennicle pot for the next meal. So I like the Jetboil spoon because everything packs very nicely down to size. When measured against an MRE spoon (this is where I get excited), it is longer than an MRE spoon when extended!!; And obviously shorter when collapsed down. I typically only use a spoon on a trip because it does everything. Scoops soup (not poo), cuts like a knife and can get every last morsel at the bottom of the bowl/package. Third, I like how easy it is to keep clean. Just wipe the broad surfaces and voila! No niches for bacteria to culture on. Lastly, I also like the ruggedness of it. Has endured some bending, so far without breaking. Hope this has helped. Hike on!

Great lightweight choice
This spoon is long enough to reach the deep part of zip-locks (for those who cook like that) and light enough for the ounce counters. The spoon can detach from the handle for even less weight and is then compact enough to fit in most bowl/pots. The flatish tip of the spoon is handy for scraping too.

Great Product
This is a great product. It telescopes well and locks into place when extended. I was concerned that it would be too flimsy but it is very sturdy and the shape is contoured perfectly to fit the JetBoil Cup. It also fits right into the neoprene sleeve which is a nice feature.

Great spoon
This spoon works good with deep pots. The flat end is good for scraping those last few morsels from the bottom of the pot.

Excellent Product
Perfect for ultralight backpacking. Durable...works well with my GSI Soloist cook set.
