Tight fit and design is a bit
Bought the single 190cm global ski bag from K2 for a trip I recently took to Vail/Beaver Creek. First off, my skis are 170cm length K2 Recons and the length of the bag was fine with excess space at the ends as expected. The padding throughout the bag was somewhat limited, however there was a "divider" thing in the middle of the bag that I honestly could not figure out what its purpose was other than perhaps provide some additional padding around where the ski bindings would be. However, since I was using 170cm length skis in a 190cm bag, this padded divider thing was not quite centered around my bindings. All in all, I liked to look of the bag, however the area around the bindings was a very tight fit. The biggest issue that I had with the bag was the "uneveness" throughout the length of the bag. It is hard to describe, but the bag is not symmetric throughout and is somewhat curved, meaning when I laid the skis down on the bag with the bindings towards the sides and zipped the bag, the zipper did not run straight down the center of the top, but kind of zigged and zagged. I don't know if this was by design or I just got a "lemon". All in all, average bag, I bought it because I'm a fan of K2. My skis arrived safely at the Denver airport intact, though I padded all the air pockets in the bag with clothes.
