great shoe, great seller
This shoe is both cool-looking and comfortable -- immensely superior to the previous Keen cycling shoe that was made from webbing-material. Altrec got it to me quickly with their free-shipping.

Great cycling shoe
Very comfortable and WIDE. I needed a wide cycling shoe and although I was looking for something completely enclosed, this fills the bill! There's plenty of room for thicker socks when the weather turns cool. For now I go sockless or lightweight "wicking' socks. My feet don't go numb like with my other sandals. Much easier to walk in off my recumbent trike as well. Laces tuck away nicely. Well worth the "extra" bucks.

Good bike sandal for wide feet
Comfortable bike sandal with the classic Keen wide fit. Pros: + Airy and comfy to walk around. + Fits wide feet. + Looks good. Cons: + Fit is not perfect. Sometimes heel comes off while walking. + Sole not as stiff or grippy as the Keen Springwater model. I tried both Arroyo and Springwater. Even though Springwater is better is every aspect, the fit is just too narrow for me. Arroyo seems like a decent compromise for casual biking. If you have narrow feet, you may want to go with Springwater.

Great bike sandal for all but Lance
This a great shoe for commuting or touring. The spd clips do not click on the floor as you walk so you don't have to carry extra shoes. They are as comfortable walking as Keen's regular sandals and are stiff enough to assist in your pedaling stroke. They are the first Keen's that have fit my wide foot and high arch. I could not fit in their other bike sandals. In fact, I bought an 11.5 size (my normal) and I could have gone with an 11 for a touch more tightness. My only issue to overcome was being able to have the clips in the rearmost position (preferable for riding a recumbent). The rubber on the sole impeded the clip on the shoe from connecting with the clip on the pedal. I had to cut a bit of the rubber away.

Well Built Sandal, Difficult to Size
First, I really like my Keen hiking sandals. I was looking for a comfortable sandal compatible with my SPD pedals. Keen's commuter sandal is so narrow that I couldn't even fit my foot in it! I tried this based on reviews that it was wider, and this is indeed the case. I ordered a 10.5, which is the size I normally wear, but the widest point on the sandal is too far away from the heel. I don't get a good fit, and my heel comes up out of the sandal when I walk. Sizing a shoe shouldn't be so difficult. I would think that there would be a sizing chart that could tell one exactly where to measure your feet in order to buy the shoe without guessing about the size. For example, the chart could tell you to measure: maximum length width at widest point distance from back of heel to widest point For example, my foot's dimensions are: maximum length: 10.5 inches width at widest point: 4.2 inches distance from back of heel to widest point: 7.5 inches The 10.5 sandal's interior dimensions are about: maximum length: 11.3 inches width at widest point: 4.4 inches distance from back of heel to widest point: 8.5 inches Note that it's difficult to measure the interior of the shoe exactly, but this is close. Other than sizing, the sandals seem well built. I am sending mine back and trying a half size smaller. I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 5 because of this fitting problem. It would be a 5 star if they fit. Thanks to Altrec for the fantastic customer service!
