Keen Men's Red Rock Mid Hiking Shoe

Very light and comfortable
I purchased these shoes for an upcoming trip to the Grand Canyon. So far I tried them around the city and they feel great. They're very light and feel very comfortable.

Best footwear I have ever owned
I really dig these boots. They fit perfectly, they are super comfortable. They broke in nicely after a few days of use and feel amazing! I can destroy a pair of "all terrain" shoes in about 2 weeks and these feel like they are indestructible so far. I'm considering ordering another pair in a different color just because I like them that much. Also..I never review products..thats how much I like them.

Great Boot
Having hiked many places with very heavy boots, putting this boot on was a very welcoming experience. The fit was true to the size, with great lace tightening. Comfort is exceptional with a good high arch support. The boot is light and the toe offers good bump protection. This is a boot I would highly recommend for day hikes and excursions that don't require the heavy hikers for back packing the Grand Canyon and Northern Italian mountains! These work well in the Red Rock country of Arizona. I hate to add, my wife said, "I told you so". She has two pairs of Keens.

Best Hiking Shoes
I bought the female version of these and never had to break them in. Walked all over the Grand Teton's, Acadia, and Moab, no breaking in required. Bought them for my husband for Christmas and he can't wait to wear them to Montana next summer! Keen makes a great shoe and Altrec makes it affordable.

Great day hikers
These shoes are very comfotable. Being a mid cut height you need to be careful of the fit with respect to your own particular ankle position. The lacing is incorporated with the around the shoe support straps. This helps provide very good tight fitting shoes. The soles seam to be very rugged and provide great traction.
