Keen Women's Silverton Boots
Some tall winter boots lose precious fashion points for functionality, but Keen's Silverton Boots for women deliver huge in both categories. Granted, if you're looking for designer boots with stiletto heels, you're probably not wearing those boots while walking around on oily, wet asphalt, snowy sidewalks or frozen cobblestones. Keen's waterproof Silverton Boots for women are made for getting to places with traction, stability and comfort every step of the way. The sole features 4-mm high multi-directional lugs made from a rubber compound that won't mark tile or wood floors. Keen insulated their Women's Silverton Boots with 150g synthetic insulation for enhanced warmth on evening walks. The metatomical EVA footbeds inside these boots are replaceable, giving you considerably more ergonomic support and customization options than some cheap boots out there right now.

very comfortable and versatile
i can see where others may think these run small. but i am between sizes in some styles so these boots work for me. i wear them to work on snowy or wet days, i wear them to walk in the woods, and i wear them in the city. they are very comfortable and have really helped a problem i was having with my knee. and they are warm! they are also stylish in an outdoorsy way. i am glad i bought these boots! they are the best purchase i made this year.

I bought the boots and wore them around for a few hours right out of the box and they were so comfortable. The zippers are hard to zip up and down at first but they eventually loosen up and get easier. We're planning a trip to Ireland and I wanted some nice but comfortable rain boots and I am so excited that I found these boots!

I read all the reviews and couldn't decide between the Keen Silverton or the Baby bern. I am sooo glad I chose the Silverton! As others commented on it is a snug fit-AT FIRST. Another reviewer said to give it time and I did. All it took was a day wearing them around running errands and they are no longer snug. As a side note I wear the smart wool ski socks with them which are pretty thick. I always go up a half size for keen and thus rather than getting my usual size 7.5, I get an 8 in keen and these were no different. The leather is soft and supple yet so far has been waterproof. I have worn them in slushy slick stuff and the treads make me feel like I have real boots on rather than stylish knee highs. The zipper on my right boot is a little difficult to get started but over time has gotten easier. There isn't much room in the calf but I measured my self before buying with tights and jeans and I fit fine with my mild "runner's calf". I'm sure there are fancier boots out there but for wearing with jeans or dresses in Colorado winters they are great!
