LOWA Boots Men's Jannu Lo Hiking Shoe
The Jannu Lo Hiking Shoe for Men by Lowa is handcrafted in Italy. It earned the Outside Magazine GEAR OF THE YEAR award!
"Cross a Suburban with a BMW and you'd get the automotive version of LOWA's Jannu: a smooth, fast ride anywhere. By combining a tough upper with a solid platform and then lining the inside with baby-butt-soft leather, the Jannu delivers an exquisitely plush but armored feel. The shoe would have earned GEAR OF THE YEAR HONORS for that alone, but add the royal blue exterior - LOWA's antidote to hiking footwear monotony - and you have a shoe that stands out just as well on the sidewalk as on the trail." - Outside Magazine

Reviews
Best shoe you can buy, period.
These are the best shoes I've ever worn. I own 2 pairs of the women's version for over a year and got these for my husband in brown prior to a week long hiking vacation in the southwest. They held up great on a trip that included 10 hour hikes most days with sandstone rock scrambles and steep ups and downs. He loves them. The sole of this shoe is like a boot, not like what you'd find on other low tops, which are essentially rugged looking sneakers. It's not flexible and can't be bent in half like a pair of merrells can. The leather lining is so soft and smooth on your heel. Because it's more of a boot than a sneaker, expect that 1/4" of movement in the heel. Women's runs almost a whole size smaller than my usual size, but my husband wears a 13 and found size 13 to fit perfect. I can't tell you enough how wonderful these shoes are-plus they look great we wear them on the trail and on weekends around town. 5 stars, best shoes ever.
