Lowa Vento Lo
I have owned Lowa boots and shoes before, so there was no hesitation in purchasing the Vento Los. They are light yet supportive and surprisingly comfortable for a trail shoe and give a feeling of sure-footedness. They could easily double as walking shoes. They tend to run true to size. I would recommend the Venta Lo to anyone looking for well made general purpose trail/walking shoes.
Excellent shoe
If you're looking at Lowas for the first time, you've probably notice that they average around $50 more than the competitor's shoe...don't let that deter you. These are really great shoes. Excellent for approaches, urban wear, and hiking. There is no break-in period, and they fit true to size. I also have a pair of their duty boots, and I don't feel cheated out of the few bucks extra I've paid for Lowas, compared to Keens or Merrells. These really are the upper end of footwear.
