Great Head Lamp
This thing is awesome. I do alot of fishing at night and this thing allows me to see everything.
Clear Grade Light
Without a doubt an effective lighting instrument that proved to adjust to the inclement weather conditions. Had no problem making adaptations to difficult cave conditions as well! Nicely done Mammut.
No issues with this light
Some folks commented on the pressure points when on your head. I don't find this to be an issue at all, and don't notice any pressure point problem.
Great!
It's really bright and my husband loves it. He is a headlamp lover and uses them to take care of the backyard. This one is brighter than all the rest.
The HeadLamp'Light' 4 Everything
Compared to the 3 watt Silva L3 @ 4 AA batteries(same as Brunton),the Lucido X-Zoom headlamp(with added red blinker lights(back)3 AA batteries, throws a little farther(30 feet)with a noticably brighter WHITER Light. The Lucido X-Zoom feels light on the head/Cuts thru snow & some fog decent.I use mine for Everything. The Zoom feature(turn bezel in any light mode) is like no other & throws a square beam instead of round(round when wide open)& covers all the area you'd ever need to see, either front/center/left & right PLUS-- You -- can be seen from the REAR if you decide to use the RED Blinker lights on the back(either for safety or for the person behind you on the rope/sled/trail/roadway/etc. ;-),Just click the light degree you want--LOW/MEDIUM/or HIGH & hold the button down a couple seconds more & it activates the Blinkers.Deactivate by turning off the lamp. Decent Waterproofness,(used nightly in an Adirondack Mtns.)snow business & in the rain/battery longevity/Quality build/light weight..I put my Silva & Black Diamond away..Both cost more even... Do yourself a favor & buy 1 NOW..Maybe 2..I got mine right here @ www.altrec.com and so should you!!Lowest price/or matching lowest price guarantee too!Free shipping most times!!Hey,,why buy anywhere else? This is one Powerhouse of a Headlamp. All your friends will want 1 to light the way. I saw this Mammut Headlamp on the Alakan Iditarod Dogsled Race.If the "Best of the Best" win the race it's also because they've got to see the TRAIL to win..Be a winner... Good for plumbers/electricians & carpenters/fireman/searchers too.Anyone wanting to light the way "up" BIGTIME,No joke here..The Real Deal.I'll stay with this company. They know Light.Best 2 All. I hope this review has given you some insight on one of the best headlamps out there.Compare & you'll buy a Mammut Lucido X-Zoom or it's little brother.Nothing else comes close @ this time.
