For that price I didn't expect it to be made in China... but it's not Altrec's fault of cause. That's probably how the world goes right now.

The search is over
I have looked for an affordable rain jacket for quite a while. Tried on different companies' offerings, including TNF, Sierra Designs, Marmot, Patagonia, Campmor brand, etc...this one fit the best on me - I wanted something that was form fitting, simple in design, had pockets (some Outdoor Research jackets don't come with hand pockets), and this jacket fit the bill.

Solid Jacket but no pit-zips
Ordered this jacket and was dismayed to find that it does not include "underarm ventilation" aka pit-zips. Called Altrec and this was confirmed on different colors. This isn't Altrec's fault as everyone lists that this jacket does include them. Altrec provided excellent customer service though checking other jackets of the same type and accepting the return. Great jacket but no pit-zips.
