one and one half pounder
my bag weighed 1 1/2 lbs with the tags removed. It came with an 18 by 8 inch stuff sack, not a light weight compression stuff sack . buyers be ware !
Great bag for the weight conscious
With about the same amount of insulation as a Patagonia Micropuff jacket this bag slips into the hidden corners of your bag and weighs next to nothing. I used this all summer guiding on Mt. Shasta. If it gets cold outside just put on some more of those clothes that you already packed in anyway. I also used this as a sleepsheet in India where it didn't get stifling on hot nights and kept me plenty warm when we got into the mountains. It's so small and light that you'll never think twice about throwing it in your bag on summit day or a long day hike to use in case of an emergency bivy, when you'll appreciate the extra warmth!
Really is a pound
A synthetic bag that weighs a pound and packs down to the size of a canelope...unbelievable. And from one of the best brands in sleeping bags. I was wary that I was missing something until I got it in the mail, but it really is true.
Good but CHILLY!
The Marmot is a great choice for bikers like myself. It compacts into a lot smaller area than a regular bag. It fits perfectly into my Harley Street Glide saddle bags. It's a GREAT summer bag,but if the temperature dips below 40 or so,be ready to grab your jacket to sleep in!
