Marmot Super Hero Balaclava

Between the three materials this balaclava works very well. It breathes well out through the mouth and nose area while it blocks the wind everywhere else. I like that the mask goes up over your nose and isn't too tight and the fleece is very soft on your skin. I have a medium head and this balaclava fits me loosely. Any bigger and it would feel floppy. If you have a smaller head, you may want to opt for something different or plan on wearing a hat under it. Overall, a really cool, functional, technical piece. Now Marmot, for some more COLORS!

Spend time at high altitude? You'll wan this gear if you do. Excellent peripheral vision, adheres to the head like a second scalp, the weave is tight. There is a hitch in the seam under the right eye of two superheros that I've ordered. Doesn't affect vision, just the aesthetics and who cares when you are on the mountain. Marmot strikes again.

Warm, durable, definitely blocks wind, fit is great - deep, and it looks cool. Perfect for very cold and windy winter cross country ski " walk in the park".
