My Favorite Hiking Pants
I love these pants! The fabric is very comfortable - soft on the inside, durable outside, slightly stretchy, and warm. Perfect for spring and fall hiking, but you could wear them in colder weather with a pair of thin long-johns underneath, or in summer at higher elevations. I like them so much I bought a second pair, and hardly ever wear any other hiking pant now. I especially like the drawcord at the cuff, which allows you to cinch them snugly over your boots to keep out dirt, light snow, and,... scree! I bought my second pair in the long length to better accommodate this. (I am 5' 7.5" and 130 lb, and wear the small). Unlike another reviewer, I like and prefer the grey/gargoyle color over black - more feminine looking. Overall a great pant and highly recommended!

Form fitting comfort
I am so excited about the versatility of these pants for hiking Kilimanjaro. They are lightweight, breathable and water resistant for for the earlier days; and form fitting yet still roomy enough to fit a couple of base layers underneath as we approach the summit. I hope I don't wear them out before my trip! Just kidding, they seem ultra durable - I just love wearing them.

Love them in black, not so much in grey
I have had a pair of these in black for about a year now, and have worn them quite a bit, mostly for 3-season hiking, backpacking and camping (they are lined and a bit too warm for summer). I really love them, as they are comfortable, practical, and look great on the trail or off. They shed water and dirt quite well, wash well, have a bit of stretch and fit great (I wear a petite pant size 7/8 and have trouble finding technical pants that fit in length - the medium/short in this pant is perfect). However, I bought a second pair in granite and will probably return them - somehow the fit seems quite different - in grey they look clingy and unflattering. I may exchange them for another pair in black, or try for a larger size in grey.

Great soft shell
Excellent 3 season and mild winter soft shell, great stretch, comfortable fabric, highly water repellent and wind-proof. repels dirt and stains well and is attractive enough to wear around town
