Marmot Men's Approach Jacket
Wind-resistant, water-repellant and breathable, the Marmot Men's Approach Jacket is the perfect lightweight outer layer for aerobic activities in cold weather. Whether you're hiking to the crag for some fall climbing with friends or taking Fido for a walk on a crisp morning, this softshell jacket will help wick moisture and block the wind to regulate your temperature. Light drizzle beads up on the surface and the M3 softshell fabric dries out quickly. Adjustable Velcro cuffs and a drawcord at the hem help seal out chilly breezes while a full front zipper gives you ventilation options. Two front pockets are lined with fuzzy-soft fabric to comfort cold hands and a zippered pocket at the arm will hold your ID and a house key or a GU packet to keep your energy levels up. Whether it's a casual stroll among red and gold aspens or a steep hike to the summit, the Marmot Approach Jacket for men will keep you comfy in cool conditions.

The best thing about this jacket is that it fits me like a glove. I am 5'8", 147 lbs. and size medium. I needed a light-weight versatile jacket to trek around town and the occasional hike and this one fits the bill in terms of performance and style. It is not windproof but does keep the chill off nicely and if you wanted to have a light layer underneath, it is a slightly snug fit because the cut is trim/athletic...but not too bad. I like the simple lines and just enough pockets and logo branding not to go overboard. Oh, and did i mention that it is very comfortable?... with no hot-spots anywhere....highly recommended!
