Marmot Men's Mesita Short Sleeve Shirt

Great product, very well designed, fabric weight just right. I ordered one size bigger, what someone suggested in his review, and I regretted I didn't go with my regular size. I'm giving it to my brother and ordering my usual size.

Great basic active shirt, excellent value
Marmot products are high quality and this shirt is no different. The simplicity of it's design really won me over. This is a basic, no-frills shirt you can wear for hiking, running, biking or just going to the coffee shop. I use mine for running trails and city streets. The fabric is lightweight and moisture wicking plus it is really soft with a silk-like feel. The sleeve construction minimizes friction and hot spots. A similar shirt from a competitor would cost twice as much so this shirt is a good value too. My shirt is holding up well to washing because I am following the care instructions. (Always a good idea to follow care instructions with performance apparel.) If you want a shirt that peforms on the road or trail and that doesn't cost an arm and a leg this is the shirt for you.

Great warm weather activity shirt
I wear this shirt for everything outside in the warmer months and is great to lounge around the house in on a warm evening. Works perfectly for being out in the boat fishing all day keeps me really cool and wicks away sweat. looking for a nice shirt to use for hiking, mowing the lawn or just keeping cool in the hot weather then this is it.

Perfect Fabric Weight
I own several brands of tech shirts and my favorite by far is the Marmot Mesita (and the similar Marmot Doctor D). The fabric weight is perfect. Several other brands of shirts have fabric which is too thin and clings badly. Although the Mesita shirt tends to cling a little, it's not as bad and the weight of the fabric is just heavy enough to let the shirt hang better when worn. It is fantastic for those hot and muggy summer days to wick the sweat away. I stay dry with these shirts when a cotton shirt would have been soaked. I have purchased four of these shirts since I like them so much. The size runs small so I recommend ordering one size larger unless you are very trim. One problem is snagging. You must keep hook and loop (hook part) away from these type of shirts. They immediately snag the fabric which is my reason for rating the durability lower. Otherwise, the fabric quality is great and should last for a lot of use.

Nice shirt for trails or around town
I bought this shirt for training/running and have also enjoyed wearing it as a casual shirt around town. I am 6'1", 180 pounds, size 32 waist and have an athletic build. The medium fit perfectly. The regular fit is a bit roomier compared to other mesh hiking/running shirts I have worn, but the fit is still great. The polyester pique mesh wicks moisture away from the skin and is quick drying. I ordered the mesita green and loved the color.
