5 star rain jacket
Lots of great things about this jacket, but keep in mind it's not for every situation. The Super Mica is absolute waterproof. I have taken it in a couple of full on deluges this year. I thought for sure water would get through but it never happened. I was impressed. It is also as windproof as it is waterproof. Second, it is very light weight. Only 9 or ten ounces. You barely even feel like your wearing it. So for anyone in traveling fast and lightweight this is one of the best pieces of weather protection you can buy. With those good things said, realize the versatility is limited. Because it is so lightweight, it doesnt't have the versatility of something with a Gore tex pro shell. So you need to be a little careful with it. Second is the breathablility or clamminess. It does get clammy and a little sweaty in warmer weather. But in my experience, most 2.5 layer shells are like that. All in all I love the jacket. But I would only use it situations where I'm not moving a whole lot, and where I'm not tearing through a lot of brush. I recommend the jacket.

The marmot super mica jacket is outside gear of the year in 2010. It beats much more jackets and wins the award. This jacket is so light that I can not feel the weight of it. You have to get one back and feel it! You won't regret getting it.

Super small, super sweet, super mica
This jacket fits me (6'1 180) perfectly in size large. It packs up as small as a decent sized sammich, and has the same full features as my Marmot Exum jacket (pit zips, adjustable hood/cuffs/waist). You will be amazed at how small and light this jacket packs away.

Awesome jacket
This jacket is super light weight. Perfect for running in the rain. Hood can be modified so it isn't flopping around like others. I'm 5' 5" and got the small for my slim/athletic frame. It fits true to size. If you plan on layering, you may want to go one size up.

Super light but watertight.
I was very reluctant to spend this much money on such a light weight jacket. I try to shop for deals but there are none to be had if you can even get this jacket at all. I am however very pleased with this purchase. The jacket is tissue paper thin but keeps you dry on the inside. The excellent fit and quality are apparent and it is good looking on as well. This is a great jacket for the summer storm. It keeps you dry and cuts the wind but does not make you wet or clammy. Great jacket if youv'e got the money to spend and can find one!
