Great glove for moderate activity
The fleece is warm, and it prevents the wind from chilling you hands to icicles. Somehow, the material stays breatheable, so you don't seem to sweat as much as other gloves. This is a big win over most other gloves. This is a good glove if you will be moving around a little; if you're just going to sit in the cold then it's going to feel cold (just as anything but the most extreme down mitt). I am very picky about gloves. These marmots have a very well tailored seams, a lot of other gloves didn't fit quite right. I usually wear an XL glove, and I got an XL, but I probably could have downsized to a L. Still I have some glove liners and I think they will fill out the glove and warm them up a little. They are a little bit expensive, but they are made with unique material and they'll last.
Very good gloves for moderate conditions
These gloves are great for moderate conditions (25 F and up). I bought the large size and the fit was great (I normally buy a size L in gloves). I have used them for 2 months and there are no signs of wear. I expect tham to last a long time. I think Marmot goves are very well made and the windstopper gloves didn't disappoint me. I also have a pair of Marmot Rondonnee gloves that I use for skiing and colder conditons.
Great gloves for city winters
I bought these gloves to use them in New York when the temperature drops below freezing. I was looking for something more technical than my standard leather gloves with Thinsulate but did not want to lose any dexterity in my fingers. I also wanted gloves thin enough to put away in my pockets without making them look too bulky. I have to say that I am quite pleased with their performance for these purposes. They keep my hands warm enough and they block all the wind. They are very easy to put on and take off. I usually put them on before I go on the streets so that I generate and retain some heat.
marmot gloves excellent, again
The Marmot Windstopper gloves are another hit for Marmot and for those who wear them. I have owned many performance gloves and these are some of the best--similar to north face's windstopper- Marmot's glove is a bit warmer due to thickness. Marmot's Windstopper gloves fit "like a glove." No excess bulk here. Just snug and fully movable fingers and thumb. Anyone who appreciates warm, well fitting gloves, that can cut any wind out will want to own these.
good product!
I bought this for my boyfriend for valentine and he really liked it. however, the size was smaller than expected and had to be exchange for a bigger size. Called the customer service and had a good experience!
