Great muck shoe
My husband is the official dog walker in our house and for some reason he hated to stop and put on his waterproof lace-up boots before taking our Chocolate Labs out into the muddy paths where they get walked. So he ruined two nice pairs of shoes by wearing them while walking the dogs. I realized I needed to find him a pair of waterproof shoes that he could just slip into and out of quickly and that could handle the mud, snow and slush. I looked for at least two months, both online and in every outdoor gear store I could find. Finally I found the Altrec site and saw this shoe. Its perfect, they fit very well so its very easy for him to just slip them on and go so he actually uses them! They handle all weather, he says his feet stay warm and dry every time. No more ruined office shoes, and the dogs are getting nice long walks, so they love them too!

These shoes perform as advertised, they are waterproof and perfect for navigating through puddles for the commute to work. Even though they are heavier duty than traditional Merrill's (e.g. Junglemoc) they are comfortable enough to wear all day. They can be warm after wearing for a full day so recommended only in cool or cold weather. The fit is slightly different than Junglemoc's. I had to order 1/2 size larger than usual to accommodate the way the shoe hit the top of my foot. My normal size was too tight on my foot.

Great shoes
These shoes fit great and are super comfortable, the water proof feature is great and they are super warm and dry on my early cool morning dog walks. Would highly recommend. Ran just slightly larger than expected. Maybe a 1/2 size big.

Great shoes
Getting feet in a little tough as the opening is a little snug, but otherwise very comfortable. The insulation makes these shoes very warm and the soles provide good traction and support. Can't comment on durability yet haven't had shoes for very long, but I'm sure will live up to billing. I have bought Merrell shoes before and have always been happy with purchase.
