Merrell Shoes Women's Pure Glove Barefoot Running Shoes

I just got these shoes and I liked them from the moment I put them on. I agree that they might run a bit long (I bought the black color), but I also have a wide foot, and they accommodate my extra width with comfort. I haven't tried running in them. I have been running in Vibram 5 fingers for about a year now and I'm not sure if I will like not having my toes splayed like the 5 fingers do. But, I like how these shoes look for everyday wear while still giving that barefoot feel. I may get them in another color.

I love these shoes! I think I've worn them every day since I got them. They're super comfortable and I love the style. I bought them to wear to Zumba class and for running, but end up wearing them throughout the day. I did go biking in them, and they had too much flex for that activity, but love them for everything else.

these shoes are very versatile! i use them to run, go to work and running around town.. there was no "break in time" and did not make my feet sore. (im use to regular running shoes.) great buy!

My mom loves them!
My mom (late 50s) suffers from Morton's neuroma, which has caused her to go through a lot of shoes searching for one she can wear comfortably and consistently. She ordered this with the Pace glove (Merrell's other barefoot model) and loves them both, but this shoe is her favorite because she can wear it everywhere, while the Pace glove is more exercise oriented in her eyes. She has had no pain from the shoe (has been wearing for 1.5 months so far) and loves how versatile it is, and is considering buying another pair because she loves them that much!

I enjoy being barefoot because it's honestly the way I grew up. I lived in middle TN and if we weren't swiming in the lake we were hiking the trails. So, as I grew up I started living in the city (well tech. suburbs) and I don't get the freedom of barefoot any more. So these shoes do it for me when I am on the trails and rocky terrain. My feet stay cool, when the shoes do get wet they dry fast, I have no rubbing of the shoe or blister on the toes where my toes touch the front of the shoes, and the sizing is true to fit. Just follow the mesasuring instructions if unsure. All around these are great shoes!
