Great Mid sized Pack
I've had a chance to use this pack a few times now, and I love it! Great features and the awesome quality you'd expect from Mountain Hardwear. Very comfortable even on long hikes. Highly recommended!
Durable, Multi-use Pack
This was my first backpack over 50 liters, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I put this this backpack through its paces recently on a trip to Red Rocks in Las Vegas. It was able to hold all of my gear easily, as well as mid layer. As some previous reviewers have said, this is more of a no frills pack that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. It was easy to remove the waist belt and the top compartment and use it as a day pack which was very nice.
Solid, tough, versitile backback
This backback has a great feel even when loaded to the hilt. Tough exterior is excellent for climbing in and around rocks. Tradeoff is that it is a bit heavier than some - but all in all an excellent and versitile pack.
Tough, simple and nice looking
I just used this pack to climb Pico de Orizaba, I used in the assault form (without the frame and lid), very useful and practical. Strong enough to deal with crampons and ice axes, capacity is more than enough for a 3 days adventure. Is a straight forward climbing/mountain pack, not a summer/railroad/europe pack so don't expect fancy stuff.
