Good pack
I originally bought this pack for a two week trip to Europe. It fits a surprising amount for it's size. It held everything I needed for two weeks in the winter. Granted I did do laundry once, and i am a light packer. Now i use this pack for everything from day hikes to traveling back and forth to school. After over two years of use nearly every week (a lot of time in the bed of a truck) it still looks like new.

A wonderful experience
I purchased this item as a gift for my son in law, and at the time of purchase was a little confused as to which size to get and as it was last minute, whether I would receive the item in time. I called the 800 number and had the fortune to speak with a Knowledgeable woman who advised me that the size (the only one left) would definitely fit his frame and advised me that I would receive the item on Monday, I placed the order on Friday. I explained how the pack would be used and she advised me on this pack over another due to the features. My son in law loved the pack..which made my day, as he is difficult to buy for.

Great pack
I just hiked 11 miles with it and it worked out very well. It's a well-designed, comfortable day pack. The quality of construction and is excellent.

PERFECT !!!
My second Mountain Hardwear pack and I am very pleased. I was in Yosemite, hiked El Capitan, and after total of 17 miles the pack was just as comfortable as it was when we started the hike. Lots of space that is not wasted compartments, very pleased.
