Mountain Hardwear Women's Tuja Trench Coat
Clean lines and a sleek silhouette make the Women's Mountain Hardwear Tuja Trench Coat so much more than a traditional duster. Think frosty sleigh rides in the Motherland, or a clandestine meeting in a dingy bar in Reykjavik, underground intrigue meets modern outdoor performance. Batura Soft Shell fabric receives a DWR (durable water repellant) finish to fend off the elements and is bonded to luxuriously warm high-pile fleece for a ridiculous combination of warmth and weather protection. The flattering semi-fitted cut features zippered handwarmer pockets, a hidden zip chest stash pocket, and two zippered internal pockets, one with cord port. Zippered cuffs make sliding the jacket on a cinch, and keep lower layers from bunching. Get an age-old jacket with modern technology and urban styling, in the Tuja Trench Coat for women from Mountain Hardwear.

Functional purchase
I bought this coat to bridge the work/play gap that was lacking. It's very comfortable and easily goes to the office and is a nice car coat with the double zipper. I have not yet tested it's warmth in the horrible New England weather. I ordered a small based on the other reviews (5'5" and 133lbs) and found the coat fits nicely with thin sweaters, but there is not a whole lot of extra room. I typically wear a small in MH stuff....
stylish warm coat
I was looking for a coat that would be warm and would also look good - not bulky like most winter jackets. The coat is stylish - and good quality...great details on the sleeves, etc. I like it alot. I ordered an xs and it fits great - that is my usual size...only thing is that I can't wear anything with bulky sleeves or another jacket underneath it because the arm holes aren't big enough.
Soft and waterproof
I was seeking a very warm coat, as the low temps in the Northeast have been brutal. I wanted a long coat that was really warm, comfy, but didn't make me look like the Michelin Man. This coat is water resistant, very light, and is lined with light, soft pile. The diagonal zipper, with placket over it, really keeps out the wind. I am 5'2, 109 lbs, got a Petite S.
solid winter coat
this coat is of high quality--it's substantial without being bulky. it's warm without being bulky. its soft without leaving behind little down feathers. it looks great--very sharp (though i feel as though i should be in siberia in it). fits a little on the large side--i'm usually a large in mountain hardware stuff but this one could have gone medium or large depending on where you're large (it's big on top). solid winter coat in Boston pre-snowstorms.
Poor sewing
I love the way this coat looks in the photo but was greatly disappointed with the workmanship. The fabric does not lay flat, like it was being pulled when it was sewn. For the price I expected much better quality.
