Great vest, great price! Fits perfect on a big guy like me. Same Mtn Hard Ware quality as always. Highly recommended. This vest is the perfect synthesis of jacket and light vest, does well in most climates.

Great fit, great core warmth
Vest fits extremely well. I'm 5'10, 160 lbs and started out with a medium, but ended up getting a large. I found the medium a bit snug when I wore a long sleeve shirt and 2nd layer under it. The vest is definitely cut for more activity than casual wear. No flapping or extra material. The construction is very well made and the fleece was perfect under my shell. I've worn it in cold conditions and been fine. Now that the weather is warming up I wear it alone. The collar is perfect around the neck and doesn't let any air sneak in!

This is a great vest for layering under a jacket, or on its own in cool weather. It runs true to size, but it doesn't have extra room, so it fits well under a jacket. The grid pattern makes the vest a little less soft than a typical micro fleece, but it is still light and comfortable with a little more structure.

It's very warm and would probably last a lifetime, but the fabric is too stiff and it doesn't move well as a layer under a shell or an insulated jacket.
