Cliffer Purpose?
While I would recommend the Mountain Hardwear Cliffer, I feel obligated to mention some qualifications. After hiking with the Cliffer, I am not certain of its overall purpose. For instance, I am not sure of the contribution of the wool blend; it distracts more than contributes. It makes the shirt heavier, more uncomfortable to wear, and limits the breathability. Maybe the Cliffer will work better in cooler weather, but then I would prefer Mountain Hardwear's long sleeve version of the Wicked Tee. Another problem is basic design. I bought a medium, but it fits like a large. While carrying a backpack, the shoulder seams also are poorly placed.
