I have tried a number of different convertible pants by diferent manufacturers. These are the best by far. They are very well made and comfortable. I am 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs. The medium std length fit perfectly. I have been a fan of Mountain Hardware products for years and these pants are another example of a well thought out, well designed quality product. I would recomend them to everyone.

These Mountain Hardwear Matterhorn Convertible Pants are great. The updated model for 2011 fits much better than the 2010 model. The reason is the 2011 has a web belt and hold your waist better, also the fit in the hips is much better. I own both years and when went on my 15 mile outings up and down ridges they prove best for these 2011 Mountain hardwear Matterhorn Pants.

In particular, the front and rear pockets provide easy access. Lastly, the Mattrhorn pants look great and I can convert from pants to shorts easily during a hike.
