Awesome adaptable jacket!
I purchased this jacket last winter and it has been a great piece of gear. It is super lightweight, stylish, and has kept me very warm even in the high country of Colorado. I wear it underneath a waterproof layer for outdoor pursuits in very cold or rainy weather, and it keeps me toasty warm! I have worn it snowboarding all day, and on long runs and hikes in the snow. I wear it by itself in milder, dry temperatures and this jacket seems to be perfect in every situation. It runs true to size and is perfect for layering (I always size up my outer-most layers to accommodate this). Being synthetic, it is easily washable, can get wet, and does not lose it's loft- making it superior to most comparable down options, in my opinion. In case you were looking at the blue option, the color is very pretty and really more of a turquoise than it looks here on the website. I am 5'9" 125 pounds and I ordered a medium- perfect. The only criticism I would offer is that the fabric and the stitching are not as tough as I might like. In less than a year of use, some of my stitching has come undone and I have put several tiny holes in the outer fabric. Granted, I am a professional guide and I put my clothing through the ringer as far as testing it's durability...but still. For a such pricey jacket, I want it to be tough. If you take good care of your gear, I suspect that this jacket would last you forever even if you wear it everyday in every situation! All in all, an awesome buy. I love this jacket!

Lightweight, warm, many fun pockets
True to size, super lightweight, many pockets to hold random things without having a purse. Keeps me nice and warm without having to wear a long sleeve base layer. Worth the price! Perfect for travel.
