Very cute jacket, would buy it again! I'm 5'4 and usually wear a 6, and the small fit great! Loved the color (black) and the pink detailing. Very comfortable!

Hardwear Solidus Jacket
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. She put it on immediately and wore it every day over the holiday break. It is lightweight, warm and very stylish. She loves the little thumb holes that keep the sleeves down around her hands (she has very cold hands and this is perfect for her). Definitely a home run. The price from altrec was significantly less than the price we found both online and at a local retail store.

Great, but not as good as the previous model
The Solidus jacket is a great piece of clothing for many activities, be it hiking, climbing or simply walk around town. Its fleece inner lining is very comfortable and it is warm without being overly so, which makes it a great item in a multilayers system. The hood fits into a climbing helmet and the front zipper goes up to about chin level, which makes it a good "half way" solution between a simple hat and a balaclava. Having previously tried the earlier model of the Solidus, I found however that the new one has a few regrettable design flaws. The hood is way too large so the fit is far from excellent with a helmet. The fabric around the thumb holes tends to wear out and look used after only a few times wearing the jacket. I would nevertheless recommend the Solidus because it is so.... SO comfortable!
