It Is What It Is.
Nice jacket, not really technical, but not supposed to be. Very durable fabric without being too stiff. The liner is very light. Placement of pockets is spot on and there are three that are basically concealed and zippered. I use this over more technical insulating pieces on cold days if I am going into a brier or snag prone area or need a little extra wind block. It also works well as a casual jacket. A bit pricey but, great Mountain Khaki quality.

El Cotton Supremo
Ready to buy cotton? If yes, I recommend the Mountain Khakis Stagecoach Jacket, a superbly designed and finely crafted jean jacket. This is not a traditional jean jacket. It has built in design features other jackets do not have, including a lower back panel, concealed zippers, and light insulation. It flat out looks good and is a tough build with even the cuffs on the sleeves reinforced for hard wear. I think this will be an instant classic garment--if you can afford the price that ain't cheap, but then again, nothing about this jacket is cheap. It should wear comfortably for years. I own and wear some great synthetic jackets but The Stagecoach is cotton deluxe that was warm this morning at 32F in the Rockies where I watched two of my grandsons playing football. A winner.
