does what it says
seems most high end bootmakers are not recommending oily, either animal or petroleum, waterproofing products. if this is your case, this is the product to use.
It works!
I use it on my Sidi motorcycle boots. It is easy to apply and will buff to a decent shine. It is a bit thin, so be prepared for a little run-off if you get heavy handed with the applicator.
The Best Boot Wax On Earth!!!
I change the water lines on the farm all summer and now that I use this stuff on my leather boots, the only thing I use my rubber boots for is the deep water!!!
Best waterproofer I've used
I've used this stuff for years on all my leather hiking boots. It's dead waterproof, easy to apply, and lasts a long time. I recently used it on my Nubuck Asolo's, and it works just as well on Nubuck as on smooth leather (even though the directions say not to apply it to Nubuck). I had tried Granger's G-tec (silicone-based) on these boots previously, but was not impressed at all. Nikwax is the only leather waterproofer worth considering.
Best Waterproofing For Your Leather Boots
I have used this on my Asolo hiking boots ($200) from the day I got them 2 years ago. Nothing is better to keep you dry and protect your boots. The key is to put it on thick and let them dry before use.
