NRS Attack Shoe
With an improved HyperGrip sole and integrated heel-to-arch strap, the NRS Attack Shoe is one of the premier pieces of our footwear line. From put-in to take-out, NRS Attack Shoes will take you anywhere. Improved HyperGrip sole provides impressive traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Multiple drainage points in the sole and upper allow water to easily escape, while keeping out sand and grit. The adjustable arch strap with side-release buckle snugs the shoe to your foot for stability and stay-put assurance - in the water or on the trail. A separate heel strap prevents ride up as you step. Cushy 2.5-mm neoprene construction supports your foot while retaining classic thermal capabilities. Tough rubber toe and heel cup protect your foot from the bumps and bashing of portage and scouting. Rugged PVC-coated woven polyester material wrapped around the sides of the shoe and across the top of the toes gives impact protection and improves lateral stability.

Great shoe for canyoneering
These shoes were my best friend in Parunuweap Canyon. I walked, waded and climbed in them and they were perfect. They were comfortable, had a great grip, and even after a lot of abuse, looked like new after the big adventure. I can hardly wait to wear them again!

NRS stands behind their products
First pair of these I had, the sole started coming off the shoe by the third time I'd worn them. I contacted NRS and sent them back for inspection and NRS sent me a new pair. So far the second pair has performed well but I can't help but look for other options considering how quickly the first pair starting falling apart. Shoe itself gets a 2 star rating from me, NRS gets four for an overall average rating.

Not that great...
Bought this shoe in preparation for a trip to Mexico. I knew the location we were going was rocky and so shoes would be much better than sandals. After the 5 day trip, these shoes had a hole in the neoprene on the top of the shoe, and the toes were beginning to peel back. The straps designed to keep your feet secure cause sore spots on the top of your heel, even after repeatedly loosening the straps. The quick release buckles will stick if they are not perfectly lined up when you close them, resulting in a very difficult opening of the buckle-you have to squeeze the tabs and pull so hard it feels like they are going to break. These are the types of problems I would expect with a $20 pair of shoes. I will be returning them. Also, they seem to run wide. I have a narrow foot, but the fit seemed extra sloppy.
