Get this one.
Do you want the success of your next solo self-rescue hinged on a functioning 2-cent inflation valve? If not, then get this paddle float. This is a GREAT paddle float. Easy on... Easy off... Very Boyant! Acutally used it yesterday for a self rescue while paddling well of shore. Oopps! Great for solo paddling. It is "fail operational". For it to fail to the point that it will no longer provide boyancy, you would literally have to put it through a wood chipper. (Even then of you gathered up all the pieces and put them together in a zip-lock bag - it would still continue to preform as a paddle float!) For some it might be a little bulky. This is probably not recommended, but in a touring kayak mine fits snuggly out of the way behind the back band under the rear deck in the cockpit (along with a sponge and pump, too). Pulls out with a quick yank. Keeps the upper deck clear if you like it that way.

Great for colder waters - get out fast!
Why struggle trying to fit and blow up an inflatable when the name of the game is getting back in as soon as possible, fastens well, easy to store and multiple use!

Save your breathe, and get back to paddling fast
A solid easy concept. ready for self rescue in seconds. No need to deal with inflatable nightmares. Works like a charm. Always keep this above deck and strapped down with a bungy. Serves as a quick life preserver. Just throw it to those that need it asap.
