A tow system designed for sea kayakers and those going on long day paddles. 500-denier Cordura, with 50' of 3/16" polypropylene rope attached to 24" of bungee cord to ease towing over high seas. Heavy-duty, plastic carabiner is stored in an internal pocket for easy access. Quick-release waist buckle, reflective stripe and mesh bottom for drainage. A tow system is great idea to have when you boat with new paddlers or kids whose endurance might not be as good as yours. Helping out a fellow paddler get to the final destination might be a necessity some day.

Plastic Clip?
Over all a very high quality, straightforward tow system. Easy to deploy and reload while on the water - however I recommend stashing the deployed line in your PFD after towing until you can raft-up and be supported by your partner. Reloading is definitely a two handed operation. I'm also a bit concerned with the potential durability of the plastic hook. I plan to replace it with a wire gate climbing carabiner. Don't get me wrong this is a good piece of gear.

The tow system worked great. It was easy to deploy.
I like the tow line. I worried about the plastic carbiner. While it worked fine, I am afraid it may break. Otherwise I love the product.
