NRS Rigging/ Rafters Paddling Glove

Tough, dexterous, extremely useful gloves
I bought these gloves to protect my hands while rowing my shell during cool-weather. They have proven to be perfect for the purpose. They hold up extremely well over time, they have excellent grip and allow me to grasp the oars without any interference. They are surprisingly warm as long as they stay completely dry. If they are moist, they aren't warm below about 50 degrees. Still, they provide excellent grip when wet too, and they don't stretch out. Hands down the best cool weather glove I've used.

Excellent multi purpose gloves!
I have purchased two pair of these gloves and would have to replace them when necessary. They have held up very well during five years of kayaking. We also use them for hiking, biking, and they usually get packed for any vacation travel. Great gloves! NRS stands behind all their products, as does Altrec.

Terrific for long, warm-water paddles
These are great for multiple day warm- and cool water paddles when blisters/abrasion can become a problem. We've tried Glacier Gloves which are so-so for cool and cold water paddles however, the relative inflexibility of Glaciers caused the use of substantial energy curling the fingers around the paddle shaft for days on end. Warmer's are better, but so far these are the best.
