Reviews
My son used this suit for a Swift Water Rescue course
He is 6'2" 175 lbs bought the XL, had a little room, but right fit. He and the instructor had same suit, they were warm and dry. He rinsed it and hung it up after using it, next day it was ready to go.
Nice Product!
Excellent Quality. This product is bombproof and will last a long long time.
Heavy duty, loose fit
Drysuit is made of very tough material, I can tell it will last. Generous gaskets. Zipper is very heavy-duty. NRS has great customer service. Per the sizing chart, I'm a perfect fit for a medium. Realistically, I could put on another 75lbs and a couple warm layers and still have plenty of room. The height is fine, but the suit is very baggy in all areas. The same goes for the NRS endurance splash pants, so I imagine this is just how NRS sizes their gear.
great for the price
I'm very happy with this drysuit. It's not as breathable as goretex, so I do get a little wet from sweat, but I've taken some good long swims in cold water and stayed comfortable. Sizing is a little tight: I had to buy a Large rather than my usual Medium (I'm 5'9", 175lb); the L is loose on me, but the M was too tight. If you find goretex on sale go for it, but if $450 is around the max you want to spend then I think this is a great buy.
