Outdoor Research Coastal Sombrero

Great Hat
I bought this for my 9 year old son after returning a Columbia hat which was too small for him. Worth the extra money when compared to comparable products. I ordered a medium size for him and it is nearly big enough for me too.

looking for a great all around hat for the NW
I have found it! This is the perfect hat for me. I wanted it broad brimmed, lightweight, packable, and a perfect fit. My head is somewhere btwn large and extralarge. So I followed another reviewer's suggestion and ordered XL. Great advice. The ability to snug it up is spectacular.

Best outdoors hat!
I own several of these hats. They were a different style-still provide protection and comford one needs for spending all your time in the sun. The quality is everything. Anyone that spends anytime outside-this is a must!

great rain hat
This may be the perfect rainy day hat, great gore tex waterproof protection, with breathable comfort. Add a decent look and great workmanship and you have a hat you can be happy to wear all day if necessary in the rain. I also have the other sombrero, which also does the job, but looks much more unstructured. This hat has I think a much better traditional great hat look.
