Outdoor Research Kid's Ninjaclava

Very warm
I bought this for my 12 month old daughter as we are moving to a very cold climate. I was very pleased with the quality of the fabric and excellent design. I would buy this again.

Great Product
I would highly reccomend because it is lightweight and fits under ski helmet comfortably. Even though it's lightweight, it still shields from wind and cold.

So, with OR, I can not seem to go wrong. Everything I have bought from them for the past 12 years has been bombproof, or, in the case of my gaiters, repaired for free. Now it's time to outfit my two daughters, who have been complaining about loose fitting scarves and hoods when sledding or making snow forts. No more windburn with these balaclavas! Fuchsia was the tough color to find, so glad it was here! Other sites had the black only. These fit four different ways, which is good, because it has to be real cold to wear them in full Ninja style. Shipping was the best though. I ordered two of these at 10:45 p.m., got the email they shipped at 2:45 a.m., and I had them 36 hours later.

easily tucks out of the way under the chin - and not too tight when up over the nose. neck coverage extends just low enough without being bulky under the jacket. warm enough - just put another cap on over it when really cold. daughter loves the pink.

Great Facemask for Recess!
My kids have outside recess as long as it is above 0 and the windchill is above -10. Thus they need a good facemask to keep them warm. This one is great. It can be used many different ways with your nose/mouth covered, just mouth covered or your face exposed. My kids are 5 and 7 (boy and girl) and the M/L fits them both! I would not recommend wearing without a hat in really cold weather. But with a hat, great! The inside has also held up well to washing which is important as they start to stink from kid sweat.
