LOVE THIS BAG!
I took this bag on a diving trip with me in some pretty rough conditions, including rain, and it kept my towel, clothes and phone dry. I didn't select waterproof because the bag wasn't sitting in puddles of water for extended periods and I just don't know if water would seep in or not. Bonus, the roll down and clip closure makes it so easy to attach to your gear. Besides looking much cuter than everyone else's dry sacks, this one was big enough for all my necessities and then some, and definitely got the job done!
Great Value!
This is a nice little dry sack. A great value for the price! It's only been out on one 3 day trip but served it's purpose very well. The sack kept things nice and dry. We used it for dirty clothing towards the end of the trip and hung it in a tree at one time as well. It took all we dished out and held up great.
Decent Waterproof Bag
It's good but not the best. Not having an opportunity yet to test this out in real conditions, I opted for the next best thing: Tossed it in the shower, turned it upside down and let as much water as possible head towards the mouth of the bag. I tried this twice for good measure. The manufacturer recommends rolling the top a minimum of 3 times. I rolled it 4 times, tightly. The result? After a minute or so of constant water from the spray nozzle, I opened up the sack to find 2 still dry towels. There was however a small amount of water that managed to seep in but just hadn't reached the contents. I would feel confident using this bag for camping when there's rain but I'm not so sure about it being fully immersed in water. Three positives about the bag are that it's very light, it packs down small, and while completely unimportant- I love that there are so many design choices!
