Excellent Hat!
I purchased 2 of these hats in black. One medium for my 3 1/2 year old son and one large for my 6 year old daughter. They both fit great and still have room for wear next year. The visor of the hat is collapse able so it's really easy to pack. Plus there are built in ear warmers to help keep your little one warm. Definitely happy with this purchase.

Great hat - but SMALL!!
We love this hat - expecially our four year old. He goes to a nature preschool, and is outside in all kinds of weather for extended periods of time, so it was important to us to get him a hat that was waterproof, warm, and had good coverage. We also loved the fact that it has a bill to keep rain out of his face. The only problem - it runs VERY small. We got the large - which supposedly fits kids ages 6 to 12 years of age - and it barely covers our four year old's ears. We tried purchasing an adult hat that was slightly like this hat - but it is not nearly warm enough, and is obviously ill fitting. Just really disappointed the fit isn't better...

Be careful of sizing
We have the same hat for one of our children and needed another one for a sibling. The hat we have is a medium and it fits both kids really well so we ordered another medium. The medium we received was substantially smaller than the one we already have. If the hat fits, it is a great hat. Just confused on the sizing.
