With the Outdoor Research Men's Equinox Pants lightweight, Supplex nylon offers UPF 50 protection in hot weather, while a DWR finish sheds moisture from foliage covered in morning dew. Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch allow easy movement for scrambling up large scree fields and taking long strides. Drawcord cuffs make river crossings easy and allow you to wear the pants up in warm weather. A side zippered storage pocket with drain holes holds a GPS or headlamp.

great hiking pants
My husband has had these pants for a couple of years now and was excited to find they still make them! He now has at least 4 pairs of them. Quick drying, love the adjustable cuff at the bottom.

Exceptional pants for travel.
I have owned four pairs of these pants and have found them to be very comfortable as well as practical. The side zip pocket fits my iphone. The pants are very quick drying so that I can wash them out at night and be dry by the morning. I travel extensively worldwide and only carry hand luggage. These pants help make that possible. They also obviously work well for any canoe activities with the cuff drawstring. These also work to keep critters out.

unusual pants for summer travel
It's great pants for summer travel, very comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying than other pants I have. But the thigh packet is small so I cannot put big goods and no durability to abrasions. For summer travel, the pants is still cool and comfortable than others.
