OR Touch Screen Sensor Gloves ROCK!
Normally I do not write reviews, but I felt that these gloves were so awesome that I would take the time. AND, as a matter of fact, I am wearing them right now and typing this review! I received these gloves as a gift for Xmas and I can't tell you how impressed I am with them. I have owned touch screen gloves from The North Face, Isotoner and 180s. By far, these gloves are the BEST I have ever used. Unlike ALL the other gloves that only offer functionality in the forefinger and thumb, these work with all fingers. Yes folks, you heard it right, ALL Fingers work perfectly. Sometimes I like to go outside during the winter to get some fresh air and will use my iPad to return email, blog, etc. Unless you "like" to hunt and peck, it is actually pretty annoying to type on the iPad keyboard with only two fingers working. Well, that is no longer an issue. I would say Outdoor Research knocked it out of the park on this one. Bottom line. Are the gloves warm? YES, VERY. Are the gloves comfortable? YES. Are the gloves well-constructed? YES. Do they work well with all my iOS devices... LIKE A DREAM! Would I recommend them? In a second. Would I give them as a gift? Already have. Sent from my iPad...

Works as Designed...
I have been looking for a glove that would work with my touchscreen devices and chose to go with the OR Sensor rather than others that I had seen. One thing that sold me was that the Sensor is actually active as the whole palm of the glove (including all of the fingers). As I understand it, the E-Tip (The North Face), is only active on the thumb and forefinger so the Sensor actually gives you the functionality on any finger on the glove. The glove itself feels warm and I didn't recognize any wind cutting through it but time will tell. I've read a couple of reviews where that was a pain point for others. I do have a couple of issues with the glove though. First, the sizing seems a bit small. I have an athletic build, with long fingers and not necessarily large (round) fingers and the gloves seem a little snug. I was kind of surprised when I first tried them on after receiving them. Second, they are really stiff. So stiff that they feel clunky when I'm using my iPhone so I have to be careful about hitting the correct buttons. There is NO WAY that I could text with these things on at the moment. I can navigate through the phone and apps fine at the moment and make calls but texting would be a challenge. I do think that once they are broken in a little bit with some good wear and tear that they will function better and be more operable. I'm looking forward to them in the dead of Midwest winter. Overall, I'd recommend them for an avid iPhone/touchscreen device user such as myself. I have no experience with other products though to compare them with.
