Durable Straw Hat
I have worn this hat for about 6 weeks. It is alot hotter than a real straw hat. This is the only negative point with the hat. It takes away from the comfort level in temperatures over 90 F, 32 C. The Fedora is made from polypropylene so even though it is warmer it will last forever unlike real straw which wears at the crown. The sizing runs a little small. Based off of measurments I should have bought the medium but I needed the large. The crown is about 3 1/2 inches which is great if you don't like hats that stick up high off your head. The only bad quality of this hat is the bottle opener. It looks good for a couple days but it is made from cheap metal which spot rusts in normal weather. I have removed it from the hat and replaced it with a better tool so that the rust would not stain the material on the hat band. If you like fedoras or just want a more formal casual wear hat I recomment it.
Nice polypropylene hat
This is a nice, stylish hat but do not expect woven straw as advertised. It is 100% polypropylene, it has seams on the sides and it is not crushable which one would expect from a plastic hat. I usually wear an XL in hats and this one fits snug.
